Comment: My wife (Cathy - Overton class of '73)) of 36 years and I moved to Germantown in 1992 and still reside in the city. We had 2 children but lost our daughter Kelly to cancer in 2000. Our son Scott lives in Nashville with his wife Ashley and his daughter Addison Kelly Kyle. I worked as a coach/teacher in the Memphis City Schools for 17 years before becoming the Principal of Wooddale Middle School, Ridgeway High School and Wooddale High School retiring in 2015. I was named Tennessee Principal of the year in 2000. I currently work part-time as a PowerSchool consultant for the Shelby County Schools.

I still live in San Diego.  I am currently the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions at Brandman University in Irvine, CA.  I have 2 beautiful grandsons and continue to travel and speak around the world.  I hope to get to the party on Saturday night.

Retired a few years back to travel, enjoy my kids, and commit more time to nonprofits I support.  Lately have been immersed in working on this reunion. I have been divorced for 20 years and have a stepdaughter and a stepson, and five grandsons.


I have worked for FedEx Express for thirty years as an engineering manager and project engineer.


I have a BSME from Memphis State University (88) and an MBA from the University of Memphis (99). I got started on college a little late.


I hope you remember my little sister Sally Parker who died back in the eighties. She was the smart, cute one in the family.
